Hand-printed TULIP EN MENSEN's classic long blouse
ONLY ONE / HAND BRUSH DYEING
This classic TULIP EN MENSEN A-line stand-collar pullover blouse flares out towards the hem. The back seam has ample tucks, creating a beautiful drape with just the right amount of volume. The neck and shoulders have a clean pattern, and the button-down design creates an elegant look. The hemline curves sharply, creating a longer silhouette at the back. The cuffs are long, creating a contrast with the fullness of the sleeves, and can also be folded over for an accent. The buttons are made of a mother-of-pearl material with a subtle shine. The blouse has two pockets.
The plain weave cotton fabric is soft and crisp, yet comfortable against the skin. After washing, the texture of the fabric emerges and the feel of the material is enhanced.
"dyed"
This time, Under the guidance of Fujioka Dyeing Factory, a Niigata Prefecture traditional craft certified by the Niigata Prefecture Traditional Crafts Department, which has been producing "Echigo Honzome Chusen Tenugui" since 1748 during the Edo period , the designer himself used a brush used for Hikizome dyeing to create this one-of-a-kind series, which depicts the accidental movement of the hairs. As the products are dyed after they have been sewn, a natural atmosphere is expressed.
[Iris color]
Iris color is a reddish purple similar to the color of the purple iris flower. " Iris " is a color name that has been used since ancient times due to the beautiful color and name of the flower, but originally it was the name of a summer color for kimono, with "front - blue, back - red or red plum" used. The designer loves flowers and often uses flower colors as names for fabrics. This time, I chose light purple because it gives off an image of elegance, transience, and strength. I mixed this color, which seems to gently embrace anyone, with the flower language of the iris, "good news," to evoke the image of someone walking gently, looking forward.
"material"
The fabric is thin and woven by Nakaei Kigyo, the manufacturer of Kameda Stripes in Niigata. It is a sheer fabric, but is tightly woven and durable, while still retaining the softness of cotton.
