About Studio

Manufacturing that begins in Niigata is based on materials, technology and handwork.
Using traditional materials and the techniques of local artisans, we aim to create universal, everyday clothing with a light, earthy feel, making it healthy and fulfilling for you, not just someone else.

Witnessing the disappearance of artisans and wanting to keep factories and techniques alive, he founded TULIP EN MENSEN in 2016. The flower language of TULIP is "compassion." EN means "connection" and "and." MENSEN is "we," or "people." The name comes from the Dutch word for connecting people. The idea is to radiate the image of tradition, reconstruct it, and re-propose tradition through newness and fun.
